COVID19 – TEMPLE is OPEN

Dear Devotees,

Due to the current Covid-19 (Novel Coronavirus) pandemic, we are concerned with its impact on our community.

After understanding the recommendations of various government and health authorities we have determined that the the temple will remain open as it servers the community and strengthens those who need to pray. The Aarti’s will continue as per their usual schedule. Although the temple will be open, we request that you do not bring any cooked food for Prasad, fruits are welcome.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will update you as there are any impactful changes with the virus.

The Alberta Government has placed a restriction on events and gatherings with more than 15 individuals. Due to the current situation, we generally have less than 15 devotees attending aarti or other prayers at a given time, as such, we feel that closing the temple is not necessary.

As a form of precaution, we recommend that you maintain social distance from others, and use good judgement. If you or a member of your family is sick, we respectfully request you to stay at home. The same goes , if you or your family members returned from any international travel in the past 3 weeks.

Here is some information and recommendations that we have gathered:

  • .
  • Please stay home if you are sick and follow Alberta Health Services advice. Call HealthLink at 811
  • Wash hands frequently and thoroughly to reduce risk.
  • Please also refer to the following sites for more information:

With Baba’s grace everyone will be safe and healthy.

Devotees performing the seva take a position of Saashtanga pranama. Pallaki will move on top of them. Devotees feel that all doshas and graha peeda will be cured and ill health will be cured by doing this seva. After the 3 rounds (With Bhajans) around the Sanctum the Utsav Murti is placed inside.
